hi, you, the one who's happened upon this alluring patch of subculture, so you've chosen a drawing you'd like to acquire, firstly thank you, it means a lot to artman, and well done, this art-channel has over 480 drawings on display!  

 

To get your chosen print, contact artman by email and artman will write back with easy to follow instructions describing how soon you can get your high quality, 900dpi res, epson archival ink-jet reproduction on semi-gloss, 260gsm, tecco (or other) paper. Usually a week if not quicker.

 

If you don't put your print in direct sunlight, bar any accidents, it should last for 200 years, for real.

as of 1/10/2019 this is the first time any of these drawings or their prints have been for sale to the general public via the internet.

further more, as of 1/10/2019 very few people have ever seen this collection of drawings, really only friends, family and perhaps a few thousand mainly australians. this small number of people due to artman's choice, up until now, to operate in stealth.

why artman?

artman, as already described, is an international art label. with the street sense of an indie rock record label, and the verve of a fashion label. therefore artman is an art business that makes curious art treasures for deep brain stimulation of the head, inner yearnings for the heart, and provocative, stylised escapism portals for your home.

 

art's no luxury, it's a necessity!

artman also describes the style of these drawings, in that they incorporate  many obvious combinations of artistic styles from some of history's most recognised artists. therefore artman, asexual, simply means the art of mankind, all mixed into a 21st century style called sophisticated naivety, where artman recognises being an apprentice in comparison to the greats. in some of artman's first drawings back in the early 90s it is clear to see the method of copying and blending the styles of three artist's, klimt. giger and escher. since then over the years many artist's styles, both recognised and little known student artists, help evolve + strengthen artman.

sophisticated naivety is a style of drawing that is visually and narratively complex, yet also, in a strange oxymoronic way, exhibits a playful haphazardness or uneducated recklessness. a flowing line technique both tight and loose, sophisticated naivety comes in acceptance that sometimes artist's have absolutely no idea what they're doing, while during other unquantifiable moments in time, as art-scientists, they fine tune multiple calculations and vectors in unexplored dimensions where they compel into our world beautiful miracle treasures full of provocative resonance and stark beauty.
